Well, It has been quite a while since I did a roundup.. I almost forgot how to write one. I have some very exciting news going on over here on my sites… I hired a staff writer, her name is Christine and she writes over at My Everyday Life Blog. I am really excited to have another writer on board and to give you the reader a different perspective other than mine.
Hmm what else is going on with me since my last write up. I hired a virtual assistant out of the Philippines her name is Queenly and she is amazing. I send her a list of tasks that need to be completed and she does them, she has been working 8 hours per day for me on this site and my other sites. I am trying to raise all the sites collectively and take over Google. Ahhh watch out!
I actually reached out to Christine when I saw a comment on a fellow bloggers site, one that I check quite often because it is good to hear something other than personal finance talked about. I think you know who she is, because she is all over. Michelle at Making Sense of Cents and Here was the post that I stole one of her commenters!!
Here are a few posts to keep your beak wet for a little while till I get things straightened out!
Take a look at Grayson at DebtRoundup talk about Renters Insurance!
Average Joe talks about Public Speaking one of my worst fears. I took courses in the MBA program to help overcome this and it seems as though this made it worse, it just gave me more things to run through my head.
DC talks about the Perks of being a fulltime employee? Take a look at your W2 to see how much your employer is contributing towards your health insurance, it is being reported this year as part of the reforms.
The dreaded payroll tax increase has hit us…take a look at John at Frugal Rules post for some ways to save money due to the payroll tax increase.
The Debt Avalance method over at WorkSaveLive intrigued me this week as well which is coincidentally enough written by Grayson from the DebtRoundup
Look for more of Christine and I in the future…also make sure to check out her site and give her some love. I will be setting up an author profile with all of her social contacts in the near future..
Bear with me, my theme bit the dust a few weeks back and I have been struggling to get it back to looking sexy. I have a designer that is going to be transitioning this over to Genesis in the near future!
Haha thanks for the mention! Christine is awesome so I’m glad you hired her 🙂
Nice to hear that you are doing some great work behind the scenes. I will be hiring a staff writer later this year and have a few people in mind. Thank you very much for the mention. I appreciate it. Have a great weekend.
Thanks for the mention! That’s awesome you hired a staff writer, I am planning on doing this myself in the not too distant future. I am going to be doing a redesign here soon as well…great minds must think alike! 😉
Great articles! I’m reading through these now! Thanks for sharing them.
