Between finishing grad school and handling a new baby (all while suffering from the repercussions of major illness), it was pretty intense. As a result, I fell pretty far behind in many of my blog related obligations; although I kept up on the weekly blog posts (give or take), things like commenting on other bloggers’ posts, writing guest posts, and even responding to comments took a backseat to my real-life priorities…

And then our power went out on Friday at 8 p.m. And it’s still out… BUT, we did buy a generator last night.
