Product

The customers are key to your success. You need to find out what your customer is looking for and you need to find out where they are hanging out and you need to get in front of them. You need to become an expert in what you are selling and that is why you often are encouraged to sell a product that you are passionate about.
Training
No matter how smart you are you are going to need some type of training – whether it is by someone else teaching you or by you learning on your own through doing research on the internet or reading or both. Both will take time. Taking a course online will cost you money and there are many courses out there. Some are good and some are not so good. Some are affordable to the average Joe, some are way beyond most people’s pockets. Heck if you could afford those courses you wouldn’t need to make money online to supplement your income!
Support
Support is the one thing that is crucial to your success. By support I mean a peer group of people that are doing the same thing that you are doing. Some may be quite successful and are willing to share their experiences with you and others can be just starting out also. You can find these people in forums. Most forums are free to join, others are closed meaning you have to be a member in order to participate.
