Say, YOU WILL DO IT

Say, YOU WILL DO IT

Our mind is absolutely naïve and gullible; it is scared of changes and discomfort. It makes excuses and forms rationalizations. Our mind over years forms a cocoon around itself, a comfort zone, and every time we try to push beyond this zone, we are pulled back. It convinces us that we aren’t capable to carry out the job. It convinces us that change is bad. It seems so hard, that we think we can’t stick to the change. We don’t believe in ourselves, we feel the others are better. The mind gives us reasons why they can do and we can’t. We are attached to materialistic things that don’t allow us to leave our comfort space. If there is something new, we refuse to learn, calling it hard to understand. We don’t want to make efforts. If nothing else, we make the excuse of doing it later. We give into the temptation of excuses, of living in our own little world, shielding ourselves from the world, its adventures.

You have to consciously please your mind to do difficult things, different things, not believing the lies your mind makes up. It is easy once you’ve realized how hard the job is. Find rituals and solutions to overcome your obstacles. Working hard is not absolutely necessary to achieve success. You just have to have the right attitude. Examine your excuses and find answers to them beforehand. You have to realize that all your excuses are lame, and you have to stop yourself from giving into them. When you find yourself in trouble, you won’t really have anyone to run to. You have to deal with your vulnerability on your own.

Thinking is the hard part, execution is the robotic part. The lies your mind tells you prevent life changes.

You try when you are not sure about your capabilities. This is where I tell you, know yourself first. Not every problem is conquered overnight, but if you persist and never give up, you will succeed. Be stubborn about your goals.  So much can be accomplished with a long-term vision and resilience to short term setbacks.

Mistakes are the best teachers. Don’t let your past mistakes decide your future. If you work on does mistakes you may never repeat them again. You may make new mistakes, gain new experiences. What is more important to your goal is learning to stick to your plan, even when the situation is getting uncomfortable. You keep pushing through and you would realize you are tougher than you thought you ever could be.

Overcome your internal resistance. Your life isn’t static. Your life is dynamic. It is constantly changing.  Don’t be afraid to try something new because life gets boring when you stay in the limits of what you already know.

Get the word “TRY” out of your mind, and replace it with “WILL”.
