Los Angeles might be “The City of Angels,” but when it comes to a city being absolutely angelic in terms of how virtuous its residents are per capita, it’s actually New York City that earns the halo and pair of spiffy white wings (did anyone else hear a record skip?)…

The WI-4 House is finally finished (after 4 months of work) and it looks amazing…
If you don’t recall, this is the house with a tiny kitchen and small dining room that we opened up into one large kitchen situated between the living room and the family room. Here are a few pictures of what the main living spaces looked like before the renovation:

In all, we spent about $70,000 on this rehab, which included blowing out the kitchen, adding a second bathroom to create a master suite, moving the existing bathroom across the house to create a better floorplan, finishing the basement, replacing all the mechanicals and roof and then a full cosmetic rehab…

It came out pretty awesome; as usual!!
We created a more open floorplan on the first floor and installed bamboo hardwood throughout. We added brand new cherry cabinets with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Both bathrooms were renovated and now have a Spa-like feel…
